About Us

Bringing Character and Values Back to the Ways of Our Youth

Welcome to the More Than Me Youth Club and Ranch, where children learn unique and helpful tools for life while building character, shaping values, and deepening their faith. MTM Youth Club is dedicated to transforming our youth into the character of Jesus Christ. MTM aims to improve the course of their lives, secure their future, and teach them to be servants of others.

With a dynamic team of local volunteers invested in our youth, we hope to redefine the outlook for the next generation by providing hope, love, and educational experiences through the Club. Through creative and captivating experiences, we will change the course of our youth and community.

Proven Tactics for Lasting Change

Our approach is three-pronged:

1. God’s Word – We use God’s Word to teach valuable life lessons about faith, community, and servanthood through fun, but educational activities. God’s Word is the greatest teaching instrument life has to offer.

2. Education – our team is led by Rebecca Williams, current U.S. Program Director for Allies in Youth Development and former elementary teacher with Masters work in Educational Diagnostics. Rebecca has a heart for serving children. She and her husband, Nick, served as house parents two years at Christs Haven for Children in Keller before having children of their own.

3. Love – all of our dedicated, caring volunteers have a heart for children and history for serving others. They are a valuable part of the team and bring a large variety of experiences and insights to the Club.

The Allies Impact

Our program is backed by Allies in Youth Development, a nonprofit organization based in Mansfield, Texas. Started in 2012, Allies hosts a mentoring program in 73 countries now, serving over 25,000 children through the Allies Mentoring and Tutoring Programs. Allies also educates children about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and human trafficking.

Allies and MTM have joined forces to bring about the same positive change to our Texas community.

MTM Goals

Life Skills and Lessons

Teach children important life skills and lessons, including social skills, homemaking, hygiene, household budgeting, finance, tools application, hunting and gun safety, fishing, agriculture, wildlife interaction, and more.

Share God's Salvation and Moral Teaching

Share the good news of Jesus Christ and each child’s invitation to be saved and transformed through him and to be adopted and grafted into God’s family. Provide Bible studies and model Christ’s love.

Educational Support

Provide educational support, tutoring, and vocational training to help children get on the pathway to a successful career.

Love and Support

Celebrate each child and their life with birthday parties each month. Bring hope to children suffering with anxiety, depression, lack of self-esteem, and other conditions.
